St. Roses Resident Wine-Maker Erik Miller Receives Forty Under 40 Award
The North Bay Business Journal has released the names of the winners of its eighth annual Forty Under 40 awards. The winners, selected from more than 120 nominations, were chosen on the basis of their leadership in companies and organizations as well as their participation within the communities across the North Bay. St. Rose neighborhood resident, Erik Miller of Kokomo Winery, is one of this year’s recipients. Well-deserved Erik!

Friday, April 4, 5-7pm -Artists featured at Corricks located at 637 Fourth Street
The ART Trails Gallery at Corrick’s is delighted to be featuring two more fantastic local artists throughout the month. We’ll be sharing with you the brilliant furniture of woodworker Michael Palace, and the lovely and vibrant work of painter Nicole Ours.
On April 4th, the first Friday of the month, we’ll be hosting our monthly “Meet the Artists” event, with Nicole and Michael here in the store, sharing about their inspirations and processes. As usual, Ancient Oak Cellars will be open for their First Friday Happy Hour, with great deals on full pours of their award-winning wines, and live music by local singer/songwriter Callie Watts.
Monday, April 7th – Public Works Project to Start
The City will begin the striping for bicycle lanes on Sixth St, A St, and Seventh St on April 7th if the weather holds. This is part of the on-going Northern Downtown Linkage project. The purpose of this endeavor is to improve vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle linkages between the present downtown core and the historic Railroad Square district that are split by Highway 101.
