JANUARY 26, AT or AFTER 6:00 P.M. – CITY COUNCIL REPORT ON MASTER PLAN FOR COURTHOUSE SQUARE REUNIFICATION PROJECT

This project will reunify the existing park areas of Courthouse Square that are currently bisected by Mendocino Avenue. Mendocino Avenue will be removed between Third Street and Fourth Street. Hinton Avenue and Exchange Avenue will be reinstalled on the east and west sides of the Square. In an effort to minimize construction impacts to residents and businesses, the Courthouse Square Reunification Project is on an accelerated timetable with the goal of completing the project in one construction season.  The project is scheduled to begin construction in June 2016. Speaker cards for the January 26 meeting on the Courthouse Square Reunification Project  will be provided at two tables located outside the Council Chamber beginning at 1:30 p.m. Completed speaker cards for the Courthouse Square Reunification Project should be submitted to City staff at the speaker card tables. Each speaker will be allowed two (2)minutes. If you can’t make the meeting, you can email your comments to city council at: citycouncil@srcity.org.

The meeting will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 28 and U-verse Channel 99.

City of Santa Rosa Water is offering a FREE Ultra High-Efficiency Plumbing Fixture package to eligible Santa Rosa Water customers! Supplies are limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

Santa Rosa Water customers may be eligible to receive up to 2 ultra high-efficiency toilets, showerheads, and faucet aerators for kitchen and bathroom installed by qualified plumbers — at no cost thanks to a grant from the Department of Water Resources.

      •         Toilets will be 0.8 gallons per flush
      •       Showerheads will be 1.5 gallons per minute
      •       Bathroom aerators will be 1.0 gallons per minute
      •       Kitchen aerators will be 1.5 gallons per minute

To be eligible, single-family residents and multi-family residents must be served by Santa Rosa Water (as water and/or sewer customers) and the toilets being replaced must be 1.6 gallons per flush or higher.
