2ND ANNUAL GREAT SANTA ROSA HISTORY HUNT
September 12, 9:30am
The Great Santa Rosa History Hunt is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about your hometown, get some exercise and have lots of fun with family and friends. 10 clues correspond to famous Santa Rosa City landmarks. Each site will have two volunteers, dressed in period costumes. Find the site, find the volunteers and receive your Historic Site Card. The first participant to return with all 10 Historic Site wins a cash prize of $50! Cost: $10 children under 10 free. Starts at SR Middle School at 10am with sign-ups at 9:30.

SATURDAY MORNING PAINTING CLASS
September 12, 11am-1pm
Each week in September we will paint portraits inspired by the masters. Much can be learned by studying and copying the paintings of the great masters. You will choose the painting that you wish to paint and get individual coaching and personal step-by-step instructions for your project in either acrylics or oils. THE LION-FOR-REAL
Artist Talk: September 13, 2pm
Local artist and graphic designer Kristen Throop announced her newest painting series – “The lion-for-real.” Inspired by her love of old Technicolor movies, the series features gouache paintings in cyan (blue), magenta, and yellow, digitally layered to mimic the iconic motion picture process.
