BRIAN HOWLETT: GLEAN & GROW
Artist Reception: July 31, 5-7pm
There is a joy, a sense of gratitude and satisfaction when you grow and raise your own food. It’s that joy which I express in this current watercolor series, Glean & Grow. Each painting is a “portrait” of the fruits and vegetables I have gleaned from neighbors or that I have grown in our little backyard neighborhood garden in downtown Santa Rosa. My hope is that you enjoy my family of portraits as much as I’ve enjoyed painting them.
