COMPLIMENTARY HORSE & CARRIAGE RIDES – Begins: December 6, 11am-4pm
Come treat your friends and family to a Complimentary Horse & Carriage ride, a gift to the community from the business and property owners in Historic Railroad Square. Every weekend in December from 11-4, plus Christmas Eve Day from 11-3, the rides will leave from the Railroad Depot (weather permitting). Location: Historic Railroad Square
December 6th, Saturday – Railroad Square Annual Holiday Merchant Open House. Complimentary Carriage rides from 11 to 4 p.m., Roving choral groups from 11-3, Open house at the Depot and Memorial Hospice Light up a life tree ceremony at 5 p.m. Location: Historic Railroad Square

In the Gift Shop, you’ll be “bowled over” by our selection of wonderful wooden bowls as well as pepper grinders, oil lamps and wine corks – all created by artist Jerry Kermode, from the elm which used to grace our Courtyard. In addition to these unique wood items, we’re also featuring a return of the stunning vegetable jewelry from Turning Leaf Handmade – earrings, cuff bracelets and necklaces made from vegetable parchment. You’ll also find items from our volunteers who have knit and crocheted a lovely variety of cowls and scarves to warm you and/or your family and friends. Ride Rosie the Trolley for free to the Dickens Holiday Crafts Fair at the Finley Community Center!
December 6th, Saturday 10:00a.m. – 4:30 p.m. & Dec. 7th Sunday 10:00a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Santa Paws is coming to town! Have your pets picture taken with Santa Paws. Friendly, leashed dogs & pets are welcome! One weekend ONLY! For a $20 Donation you receive a framed 4×6 photo which includes a digital print emailed to you. West End Farmers Market- Two More Weeks! The 2014 season is coming to an end. The final Sunday is on December 14th– so you have two more opportunities to come out and enjoy the market. On December 7th– special guest is Jill Nussinow, The Veggie Queen, will have a cooking demonstration to teach you tasty recipes for a whole food, plant-based meal. City of SR Water Resources Specialists will be on hand with free give aways and information about water saving programs and incentives, including cash for grass, rainwater, gray water and the hot water recirculation pump. Music: Them Travelin’ Birds. Rain or Shine…. come out to the market! Music and Dining will be weather-proof!
