Dia de Los Muertos 1

Sat., Nov. 1, 4-7pm – DIA DE LOS MUERTOS FIESTA!

We warmly invite you and your friends to our Dia de los Muertos fiesta and the 5 year anniversary of the grand opening of Calabi Gallery!!! Please join us in honoring the memories of our loved ones who have passed while viewing beautiful art and enjoying light bites and refreshments. This will also be the closing party for our current exhibition Beyond Borders. We hope you can join us in celebrating our 5th birthday in business!

Nov. 1 & 2, 10am – 9pm – DAY OF THE DEAD CELEBRATION

Throughout both days there are performances by poets, singers and musicians. There is an art area for creating decorations for the altars you construct for loved ones. There is an all-night vigil for deceased friends and family. Day of the Dead is an alcohol free event.

The Zoning Administrator will hold a public meeting to decide whether to approve or disapprove a Landmark Alteration application on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at or after 10:30 a.m. in Room 7, City Hall, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue.

Project Description: Expansion and reconfiguration of the Sonoma County Museum parking

The public is invited to attend and/or comment at the public meeting.

A more formal public hearing (includes a public hearing notice in the Press Democrat and a public hearing sign posted on the project site) will be held only if a written request from a member of the public directed to the Zoning Administrator is received by Wednesday, November 5, 2014.

Corrick’s is delighted to feature the work of local artist Mario Uribe. To inaugurate this exciting month’s show, Mario will be joining us to show his work, and share a little about his inspiration.
Ancient Oak Cellars’ Happy Hour will be in full swing too, complete with live music from another local artist, phenomenal Sonoma County guitarist Nate Lopez.
So come by! And get to know another of our neighbors who is working to bring this magnificent beauty to our community!
Our Meet the Artist events provide a unique opportunity to discover not only the beautiful artwork coming out of our own neighborhoods, but also to celebrate the wonderful individuals working to bring this beauty into our lives.
