Historical Society of Santa Rosa Presentation on Luther Burbank

Thurs., May 18, 6pm-7:30pm

Please join the Historical Society of Santa Rosa for Essential Luther Burbank, presented by Rebecca Baker and Lisa Kranz.  Rebecca is the Archivist and Historian at Luther Burbank Home and Gardens.  Rebecca and Lisa are both long-time docents at this historic site.

Nearly 100 years after his death, Luther Burbank remains one of Santa Rosa’s most recognized names, but how well do you know Burbank as a man, a neighbor, and an early draw for tourists?  Through his horticultural innovations, Burbank was among the nation’s first agricultural celebrities.  While most Santa Rosans think they know something about Burbank, this webinar will showcase real-deal information and rarely seen photographs and artwork illuminating this famous son and his ground-breaking work.

This virtual presentation is free, but registration is requested. To register visit: https://tinyurl.com/HSSRWebinarMay2023
