The West End Farmers Market will celebrate the harvest season plus offer these special happenings for dogs and pet lovers. Shirley Zindler , a local So. Co. Animal Control Officer and wonderfully compassionate animal lover will be available with her amazing book, “The Secret Life of Dog Catchers”. You will also be able to have a portrait of you and your dog (with our without its Halloween costumer) taken by photographer extraordinaire Brian Howlett . (Cost is $10 and proceeds go to Sonoma County’s “Love Me, Fix Me spay/neuter program.)

Go back to the 70’s, and the beginning of the Jesus Movement, as journalist-playwright David Templeton presents an encore offering of his acclaimed one man show ‘Wretch Like Me.’ Along with vivid impersonations and outrageous demonstrations of verbal acrobatics (never heard the song ‘Amazing Grace’ sung BACKWARDS?), David revisits his teenage days as a desperately nerdy, high-on-Jesus, fundamentalist pupperteer, from his numerous baptisms, his merry band of blissed-out teenage believers, a tiny church named Happy Chapel, a girl who wets her pants for Jesus, and avery serious (and seriously confused) man-of-God name… Reverend Dude.
