JANUARY 26, AT or AFTER 6:00 P.M. – CITY COUNCIL REPORT ON MASTER PLAN FOR COURTHOUSE SQUARE REUNIFICATION PROJECT
This project will reunify the existing park areas of Courthouse Square that are currently bisected by Mendocino Avenue. Mendocino Avenue will be removed between Third Street and Fourth Street. Hinton Avenue and Exchange Avenue will be reinstalled on the east and west sides of the Square. In an effort to minimize construction impacts to residents and businesses, the Courthouse Square Reunification Project is on an accelerated timetable with the goal of completing the project in one construction season. The project is scheduled to begin construction in June 2016. For more info visit: More Info on Courthouse Square Reunification
ONCE UNIFIED, ALL SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC WILL BE REDIRECTED FROM COLLEGE AVENUE TO HEALDSBURG AVENUE AND B STREET.
Speaker cards for the January 26 meeting on the Courthouse Square Reunification Project will be provided at two tables located outside the Council Chamber beginning at 1:30 p.m. Completed speaker cards for the Courthouse Square Reunification Project should be submitted to City staff at the speaker card tables. Each speaker will be allowed two (2)minutes. If you can’t make the meeting, you can email your comments to city council at: email@example.com.
