October 9th , Wednesday at 7:00 PM- Walking Tour Juilliard Park and Church of One Tree Presenter: Bill Montgomery A casual stroll to visit the Juilliard Park neighborhood and the famous Church of One Tree. Bill will cover the history of these landmarks, as well as the plants of Juilliard. Designed by a young admirer of Luther Burbank, the park is a reminder of the Works Project Administration during the Depression. $10 Must Pre- register Luther Burbank Home and Gardens Location: Meet at Luther Burbank Home & Gardens in the courtyard.

Stick-Eastlake built between 1880-1888 and moved from B Street by the Metzger family. Known as the "Carithers House". Original house still standing in 1981. Burned down between 1982-1989.Elements from original structure used  to create current apartments at location.
